Retail Design Project
Beg Rue Nuh
Spring 2021

2nd Year

Developed with AutoCAD, SketchUp, & Enscape

Beg Rue Nuh is an exclusive specialty shop supporting the Winslow Hotel & Spa located in Fargo, North Dakota. The Winslow Hotel was designed by third-year students, Hannah Dobie, Justice Erickson, and Victoria Nelson.  Beg Rue Nuh was designed based off of the colors and Scandinavian design of the Winslow Hotel & Spa.

The Norwegian word for reflection in terms of the metal activity is “begrunnende.” If spelt out phonetically so one could pronounce it properly it would look like “beg rue nuh.” This phonetic spelling of the Norwegian word for reflection is the name of the boutique because the products sold are ones that help individuals with self-reflection and meditation.

This project includes the development of a custom logo, cash wrap, and display.
