The Martin Residence is the combination of a luxurious downtown condominium and a welcoming family home. Clark and Ava Martin bought this condominium in the historic Black Building in the heart of downtown Fargo, North Dakota. Clark and Ava love to cook and entertain guests in their home. The Martins have retained a treasured heirloom bench that Ava inherited from her grandfather. The Martins want this bench  to be showcased in their living room. The Martin's are still able-bodied but would like their new home to allow them to age in place and incorporate many universal design concepts throughout the space to help them adapt as their physical abilities change. The Martins are intrigued by the Art Deco style and would like the style incorporated throughout their home.
